An Exploding Non MLM Business Model
The traditional MLM (Multi-Level Marketing), business model has it’s proponents and it’s critics. Both sides are probably correct depending upon the commodity or service. There is a perceived trend that the MLM Business Model as we know it, is changing with the markets and the economy, and is morphing into more of a Direct Sales Network Marketing model.
The exploding non MLM business model is becoming the emerging way of doing business. The management of a complex MLM down-line is mitigated by a simpler and a more profitable way of doing business.
In 1999-2000 there were an estimated 12 million people involved with MLM. It is projected 70 million people will start a home based business within the year 2010. While it does not hold true in every circumstance the MLM business model may still pay for recruiting new members. Of course there are the mechanics of revenue moving up-line, so our member can see a win-win for obtaining new recruits.
Direct Sales Network Marketing, though still considered by many to be an MLM, takes a different approach in acquiring members. Direct Sales Network Marketers generally do not pay sponsors or team leaders for an acquisition of a new recruit. Direct Sales Network Marketing pays only on sales alone.
